Registration and accreditation for Rio 2012 is now open

The UNCSD secretariat has announced that the accreditation and registration process for Rio 2012 is now open. Spread the word. Tell your friends. Get registering. This is our opportunity to kick-start the transition to a greener and fairer economy.
The conference itself will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 20 to 22 June 2012. The conference will be preceded by the third Preparatory Committee meeting of the Conference, from 13 to 15 June 2012.
Preregistration is open to:
- NGOs and major groups that are currently in consultative status with ECOSOC as NGOs (including those on the roster through the list of the Commission on Sustainable Development).
- NGOs and major groups that were accredited to the World Summit on Sustainable Development in 2002.
