On 12th July His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales will convene a global forum, “Measure What Matters: a Framework for Action", in London.

The forum will bring together leaders from across government, business, finance and civil society to inspire action towards achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.  It will explore the vision for 2030, and share practical examples of how different actors are adopting the Global Goals, in particular focusing on ways to measure progress.

The event will:

  • Share case studies demonstrating cross-sector collaboration and practical responses by businesses, governments and other actors
  • Demonstrate the benefits of collaboration in providing the data sets needed to measure progress
  • Identify solutions to close key data gaps and highlight opportunities for convergence across measurement frameworks
  • Create a pathway to inspire action

The forum is the culmination of the three year Measure What Matters initiative led by the Green Economy Coalition in partnership with the Global Reporting Initiative, The Prince's Accounting for Sustainability Project, Stockholm Environment Institute, and the International Institute for Environment and Development.
