National dialogues and activities

The transition to greener economies has begun and it is gathering pace. The Green Economy Coalition is supporting, tracking and scrutinising the transformation as it unfolds.

First, we are supporting a series of unique, multi-stakeholder national dialogues that are helping NGOs, practitioners, businesses and governments explore what a green economy looks like in different contexts. We have supported dialogues in the Caribbean, India, Brazil, Mali and Spain. Our member IIED has more planned for 2013 – so watch this space.

Second, we are tracking and monitoring government national plans on a green economy to understand who is doing what.
