Introducing the big picture

Until now descriptions of a green economy have tended to focus on particular sectors or components of our global economy.

But we feel that a move to a green economy is not about tweaking sectors or short term gains. It is about redefining the role, the purpose and the resilience of our economic system.

To do this we need to understand the systemic causes of the many challenges that we face today. We need to grasp what is happening to our planet and to people; we need to understand why this is happening; and we need to identify how we can speed up a transition to a better future.

We are starting to build our understanding of the 'what', the 'why' and the 'how' of a green economy. We are starting to build that big picture....
